Clean up Langley Day
On Saturday April 18th, Strong Towns Langley will be participating in the Township of Langley’s Annual Clean up Langley Day! Special thanks to Laura Stepney for organizing this on behalf of our group.
The starting point for the clean up will be at 204 Street side of McClughan Park in Walnut Grove, starting at 10:00am
This will be the second time Strong Towns Langley has participated, our first back in 2024. We will be just one of many clean up groups working across Langley that day, so if this one doesn’t work for you but you still want to be involved, be sure to monitor the website.
Jane’s Walks in Walnut Grove and Willoughby
We are also pleased to announce our Jane’s Walks are returning this year. We are hosting these a weekend before the main Jane’s Walk festival, so people can still attend other Jane’s Walks in the region and also avoid overlap with the Township of Langley’s own Langley Walk on Sunday May 3rd.
Join us at 9:30am on Saturday, April 25 in Walnut Grove at Alex Hope Elementary
Join us at 9:30am on Sunday, April 26 in Willoughby at Jamieson Park (76B Ave and 206 Street near the Parry-Evans Trail)
These walks are a great chance for you to connect to your community, learn something, and appreciate what makes Langley special.
